Adult Education Sunday School Classes meet at 9:15 a.m. Join us! Location Change!!!! - Deep and Wide Sunday School Classes will now meet in #3 Walker. Lenten Study – The Passion Week: Joyce and Mark Derby will lead a Lenten Study focused on Matthew’s account of the last week of Jesus’ life and ministry. Joyce Derby will lead this study on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. during Sunday school (Walker 209) and Mark and Joyce will co-lead the study on Sunday evenings from 5:15–6:30 p.m. in the Parlor. If you have never participated in a small group, this would be a good opportunity to take the plunge and make a short term commitment to deepen your life-long relationship with Christ. Sunday School Class—Exploring the Good News invites you to join us in Walker 205 to study the lives and messages of the minor prophets. Seekers Sunday School Class has started a new study on the New Testament, based on a series of videos by Dr. Ehrman of UNC. Tuesday Morning Bible Study - Pastor Derby leads a weekly Bible Study on Paul’s letter to the Romans in the Wesley Room at 9:30 a.m. The group is open to anyone who wishes to participate and explore this profound letter that dramatically impacted the lives of Martin Luther and John Wesley. Tuesday Evening Bible Study - 7:30 p.m. (W210) led by Susan Hofstra. Tuesday Evening Young Adult Bible Study - 7:00 p.m. #7 Walker Avenue—Pastor Kate’s house. Tuesday Evening Men’s Ministry – Join Pastor Derby’s Tuesday evening discipleship group for men from 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. The group is beginning a new study this week called “The Uprising”. New participants are invited and welcome! Quilt and Bible Study - Meets Tuesday, March 10, at 7:00 p.m. at Eydie Searles home, 18 Walker Avenue. Join us for fellowship and fun. Say It With A Card - Join us the first Saturday of each month to learn (or share your interest and experience) in making personalized greeting cards to send to friends, family and others we care about. Our vision is to send a card to everyone on the Ministry of Prayer. This gives us a chance to pray for each member of our community in need, as well as brighten their day with a handmade greeting card. Mug n’ Muffin, Saturday, March 14 - “The Wondrous Cross.” All women of Grace UMC and friends are invited to Mug n Muffin at 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Come for breakfast, fellowship and a time for reflection and discussion of the cross of Jesus. There are many different representations of the cross. If you have one or more (necklace, wall hanging, picture, etc.) that you would be willing to show and share about, please bring or wear it. Scripture and hymns (particularly “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross”) will be resources for discussion. Science and Religion Discussion Group meets tonight at 7:00 p.m. in W210. Rev.
