Jan 1, 2025 | Rev. Bill Maisch Named as Interim Senior Pastor

Grace United Methodist Church is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Bill Maisch as Interim Senior Pastor, effective January 1, 2025. Rev. Maisch will serve in this role for a six-month period, providing leadership, guidance, and spiritual care as the congregation transitions to its next chapter of ministry.

Rev. Maisch brings a wealth of experience to Grace UMC, having served in various pastoral roles within the United Methodist Church. Known for his compassionate leadership, thoughtful preaching, and dedication to fostering community, Rev. Maisch is committed to continuing the church’s mission of sharing God’s love and serving others.

“I am honored to join the Grace UMC family during this season of transition,” said Rev. Maisch. “I look forward to walking alongside this vibrant congregation as we seek to grow in faith, deepen our connections, and serve our community with Christ’s love.”

As Interim Senior Pastor, Rev. Maisch will provide stability and pastoral care while helping the church prepare for its next long-term leader. His six-month appointment reflects the United Methodist tradition of itineracy, where clergy are assigned to congregations to meet specific ministry needs. This practice is rooted in the church’s commitment to adaptability and shared ministry.
