KidsClub
JOIN ANYTIME!!
The Grace UMC KidsClub is a safe pre-youth service and activity program for children grades 4th-6th grade as well as rising 3rd graders that have turned 9. KidsClub offers many opportunities throughout the year for fun, fellowship and deeper faith-building. Your kids will participate in many service based activities that focus on helping the community. It is our goal to help the children of Grace UMC build a solid foundation rooted in serving others.
We offer a wide array of activities including our annual backpack drive where we provided backpacks for 155 children in the Gaithersburg community! There are so many events and projects- we can’t wait for your kids to join us and start connecting with their peers through fun, fellowship and service!
KidsClub is active yearly from September through June. Here is a sample list of events we participate in every year. Many KidClub events are open to children of all ages (listed in bold with an *) and only require a family member to participate alongside.
- Coat Drive Kickoff (Oct)
- *Virtual Harvest Festival (Oct)
- Cookie Bake, crafts and Blankets (Nov)
- Spirit of Giving Shopping (Dec)
- *Children’s Christmas party (Dec)
- Spirit of Giving Wrap Party (Dec)
- Comfort Cases Service Project (Jan)
- *Snow Tubing (Jan or Feb)
- Lock-in (Feb)
- Easter Candy Making (Mar & April dates)
- *Children’s Easter Party (Apr)
- Water Park (June)
