While Grace UMC does not currently host a monthly United Women of Faith gathering, we warmly invite you to connect through our other women’s ministries. These opportunities offer fellowship, spiritual growth, and creativity as we journey together in faith.
We welcome all women (and teens) to be a part of these ministries as we grow in faith and friendship.
United Methodist Women is now Women United in Faith. United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.
Turning faith, hope, and love into action on behalf of women, children, and youth around the world.
We provide opportunities and resources to grow spiritually, become more deeply rooted in Christ, and put faith into action. We are organized for growth, with flexible structures leading to effective witness and action. We equip women and girls around the world to be leaders in communities, agencies, workplaces, governments, and churches. We work for justice through compassionate service and advocacy to change unfair policies and systems. We provide educational experiences that lead to personal change in order to transform the world.
Spiritual Growth – helping members deepen their faith through prayer, study, and community.
Leadership Development – equipping women of all ages for leadership in church and community.
Transformative Education – offering opportunities to learn about justice issues, faith practices, and mission engagement.
Service & Advocacy – putting faith into action through hands-on service and advocating for justice, especially for women, children, and youth.
The Reading Program is a cherished United Methodist Women tradition that brings together members in mission as they explore, share and discuss the books. Books often raise concerns about people, countries and issues. We bring these concerns to God during prayer time.
Advocate for tangible change. Many Reading Program books address issues such as climate change, mass incarceration, immigration and racism. We advocate through letter writing and phone calls to our representatives.
