As part of the restructuring plan approved during the 2024 Baltimore Washington Annual Conference, Bishop LaTrelle Easterling has announced the configuration of new districts and hubs within those districts. Here is a summary of how this will impact Grace UMC:
1) With the change from 8 districts to 6, we will now be part of the Tidal Basin District, under incoming District Superintendent Ianther Mills.
2) We will be part of the Greater Gaithersburg Hub that will collaborate together to create and achieve a shared vision, while supporting one another as each church continues to pursue its ministries. The other United Methodist churches in this hub are:
