Online Bible Study

Wednesday, May 27, 6:30pm, Pastor Miller begins a new study from the book Enough, by Adam Hamilton. Discover joy through simplicity and generosity!

Enough is an invitation to rediscover the Bible’s wisdom when it comes to prudent financial practices. We explore the key to experiencing contentment, overcoming fear, and discovering joy through simplicity and generosity.  As always you don’t have to have the book to participate. Everyone is welcome into the discussion. If you choose to purchase the book it is available on Amazon (the Kindle version is $8.52).

The Enough study will be a similar format to our Unafraid Study. Even if you do not purchase the book, there is a lot to be gained by participating and interacting with your Church family.

Church Closed Until Further Notice

COVID-19 continues to affect our area and we continue to operate remotely with church services and meeting online. We are grateful for the technology that allows us to continue to connect with our congregation and the community! This connection is a light we can offer in this time of darkness and for that we continue to be grateful.

Of course, there are more questions than answers. However, some information remains steadfast, including recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO). Social distancing tops the list of simple steps to take to limit risks and exposure to the disease. Above all, anyone feeling unwell should stay home and seek medical care.

Please stay informed and follow advice given by your healthcare providers. Stay up-to-date on COVID-19 by checking reliable sources, such as the WHO, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control, and Global Health Tracker.

As the days pass, may we continue to work together, connected as one, lifting each other and all the world in prayer as we move through this uncertain season, anxious and yet confident that God is with us.

COVID-19 Donation Requests

Gaithersburg HELP is in serious need of food as well as financial donations due to the huge increase in community need. Because many people have asked how they can help, we are offering the following three options―drop food off to either of two locations, ship food, or donate money. Details are provided below. Please note that if you already have an organization or friend collecting food for HELP, you may continue using that approach. Please follow this LINK for further instruction! Thank you for your concern and God bless you!
